Stunning Survivor Tree earrings from artist Michael Michaud.
"This is an amazing story! Weeks after 9-11, the only surviving tree, the stump of a callery pear, was found, buried amongst all the rubble. It was carefully moved to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx. Brought back to life, it was then moved back to the 9-11 Museum grounds where it flourished. "I was honored with the opportunity to cut a flower from that tree, cast from it, and create a collection of Survivor Tree jewelry. One of the proudest moments in my career." -Michael Michaud.
These earrings are cast in sterling silver and measure about 1" long.
